On June 24, the Romanian Parliament held elections for the presidents of the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate, and Sorin Grindeanu was the only candidate for the Chamber of Deputies, which sparked controversy. Diana Iovanovici Shoshakova criticized the absence of an opposition representative and announced criminal complaints against colleagues for harassment. MEP Tudor Ionescu called for the resignation of former colleagues expelled from the party, emphasizing the need for strictness against political patronage. Șoșoaca also discussed Romania's international relations and the difficulties the party is facing in completing the electoral lists, promising transparency in future broadcasts.
