Dan Dungaciu argues that the NRRP is more than an economic plan, it is an external control mechanism that threatens Romania's democracy and sovereignty.

In the Marius Tucă Show, analyst Dan Dungaciu said that the PNRR is an instrument of external governance, which contributes to the loss of Romania's sovereignty in favor of a centralized European model. He warned that democratic elections could become formal as policies will be dictated by Brussels. Dungaciu underlined that the war in Ukraine provides a pretext for the adoption of economic and social measures which, under normal conditions, would have been difficult to implement, also highlighting Romania's exclusion from European geopolitical projects.
