Weekend traffic congestion on the Giurgiu-Ruse Friendship Bridge is intensifying due to repair works on the Bulgarian section of the bridge, which limits traffic to one lane. Drivers wishing to travel to Bulgaria or Greece will have to be patient and wait dozens of minutes. The Traffic Information Center recommends using alternative routes to avoid traffic jams. The Oryahovo-Bechet ferry is also temporarily suspended due to weather conditions.
