AUR MEP Ciprian Paraschiv spoke about the proposed amendments to Law 4/2008, noting that they aim in particular to improve security during sports competitions. Among the novelties are the opening of emergency gates and strict regulations on alcohol consumption in line with UEFA rules. Paraschiv explained that pyrotechnics will be managed by specialized firms and the changes could come into force in October, with the support of most parties in Parliament.
