The project for the rehabilitation of the Gara de Nord area was approved with 48 votes 'for' and one 'against'. It includes the creation of an intermodal hub that will connect rail transport, the subway, urban public transport, and will improve recreational areas. Interim Mayor Stelian Bujduveanu announced the organization of an international architectural solutions competition, mentioning collaboration with the Ministry of Transport. The project aims to modernize the Gara de Nord square and connect the adjacent neighborhoods, with the goal of improving the quality of public space.
