In a speech delivered in Doha, Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah al-Sissi used the term "enemy" to describe Israel, marking a significant change in official Egyptian rhetoric. Diaa Rashwan, head of the Egyptian State Information Service, emphasized that this is the first time an Egyptian leader has used this word since 1977. Al-Sissi highlighted the importance of changing the perception of the enemy regarding Arab countries, in the context of recent tensions generated by Israeli attacks on Hamas.
