The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Moldova has announced that false summonses are circulating to call citizens to military institutions, stating that these are an attempt at disinformation.

The ministry emphasized that it has not issued such summons and that the purpose of this false information is to spread panic and undermine trust in state institutions, in the context of the parliamentary elections. The authorities urge citizens to inform themselves from official sources and to remain vigilant. President Maia Sandu warned about the risks of Russian control over Moldova, which could affect the entire region.
