The Republic of Moldova is facing challenges in education due to the use of artificial intelligence, such as ChatGPT. The Ministry of Education aims to train teachers to identify works created with the help of these applications and to adapt assessment methods. There is also discussion about the need to update school textbooks, especially in subjects like Physics, where no suitable recent textbooks have been found. The educational system is also facing a shortage of teachers, currently having 1,540 vacant positions.
