"We have demonstrated responsibility both at home and in the diaspora. And those who spent all day yesterday picking grapes in the field because, look, the rains are coming, and those for whom the polling station was hundreds or even thousands of kilometers away - they made time, reached the ballot box, and helped their country with their vote. Yesterday, but also in the weeks of the campaign, we showed that we know how to be united when the future of our country is at stake.

Thank you very much to all the citizens of the Republic of Moldova who participated in the vote yesterday, in small villages, in big cities, in the country or abroad, every vote counted. We have demonstrated to the whole world that we are brave and dignified, we did not let ourselves be bought, intimidated, or scared. We mobilized and protected our country through our honest vote. I thank you from the bottom of my heart," said Maia Sandu.
