Ion Ceban announced on Facebook that he is in Italy for a series of meetings and activities, mentioning recently signed agreements by Chișinău worth over 2.2 billion lei. Ceban has been banned from entering Romania and the Schengen area for 5 years, for national security reasons, accusing the government of 'political revenge' and claiming that this is part of a campaign against him in the context of the elections in Moldova.
