Ilan Shor, a convicted fugitive, announces from Moscow that he will support a political force that will organize fair elections, after his parties were excluded by the CEC.

After the Central Electoral Commission rejected the registration of parties affiliated to Ilan Shor for the parliamentary elections, he said he will identify a political force that will ensure fair elections after the opposition's victory. Shor said that a coup d'état had taken place in the country and that he intends to overthrow the current regime. The CEC excluded several parties linked to Shor from the electoral race, leaving 25 parties approved for elections and 14 others under evaluation.
