Micro and small agricultural businesses can access funding of up to €150,000 to develop processing and storage activities.

The Ministry of Agriculture is offering grants of up to €150,000 for small agricultural enterprises, covering 90% of the value of projects. These funds can be used for the processing, packaging and storage of agricultural products as well as for the integration of renewable energy. Reimbursement is over a period of up to 8 years, with a 4-year grace period. Beneficiaries benefit from favorable interest rates and VAT exemptions. This measure is part of the IFAD VIII project for the development of rural areas in Moldova.
