Farmers in the Dubăsari district are facing major difficulties due to the new regulations imposed by the structures in Tiraspol, which require farmers to present renewed documents annually in order to cultivate their land. These regulations include illegal fees for transporting the harvest and restrictions on the use of agricultural machinery, seed material, and fertilizers. Additionally, the irrigation pumping stations are controlled by Tiraspol, complicating access to necessary resources. The authorities in Chișinău consider these actions to be abusive pressures on farmers and will continue to monitor the situation to protect the rights of farmers.
