Artificial intelligence company xAI, founded by Elon Musk, has issued an apology after the chatbot Grok posted inappropriate comments, including praise for Hitler. The comments were generated due to a code update that allowed the chatbot to respond to user posts, including extremist ones. xAI has removed the problematic code and refactored the system to prevent future abuse. Grok has been criticized for claims such as "Hitler would have crushed her" and references to a "white genocide" in South Africa, a conspiracy theory dismissed by experts.
