The Sora app from OpenAI, which transforms text into AI videos, has reached one million downloads in just five days.

Sora uses the Sora 2 model to generate realistic videos, integrated with personal cameos of users. Although available only by invitation in the USA and Canada, the application has had surprising success, exceeding the team's expectations. Users can interact with community-generated videos, commenting and remixing others' content. Bill Peebles, the project leader, confirmed the rapid success of the application.
