HBM (High Bandwidth Memory) was introduced in 2013, representing a type of RAM that stacks chips vertically, saving space and reducing power consumption - crucial advantages in training and running AI models. The company is developing the next-generation HBM4, with a customer-specific core 'die' to manage memory and enable deeper customization.
