The DropCoal mission was designed to study the coalescence and mixing of liquids in microgravity, and is of particular importance for space exploration. It is also the first payload designed and manufactured entirely in Romania to arrive on board the International Space Station. The project is developed by RISE, which has been operating in aerospace engineering since 2017.
