OpenAI's new o1-pro model uses extensive computational resources to provide more accurate answers to complex problems, but access is limited to developers who spend at least $5 on the API. The costs for use are significant, at $150 for a million input tokens and $600 for generated tokens. Although the model has improvements in areas such as math and programming, users have reported difficulty solving some puzzles, and reactions have been mixed.
