This feature, which includes data from popular applications such as MyFitnessPal and Apple Health, has drawn the attention of privacy advocates, who emphasize the need for very strict protective measures. OpenAI has stated that data from ChatGPT Health is stored separately and will not be used to train its AI models, but experts remain cautious. Andrew Crawford from the Center for Democracy and Technology highlighted the importance of protecting health information. Although ChatGPT Health is intended to complement medical care, not replace it, some experts believe that its launch could represent a turning point for AI in the health sector. However, the feature is only available to a limited group of users in the U.S., and in other regions, such as Europe, it has not been launched due to strict personal data regulations. Crawford warned that without adequate protection, sensitive information could be exposed to risks. The success of ChatGPT Health will depend not only on its usefulness but also on the companies' ability to demonstrate that user data is protected.
