Japan has developed cardboard war drones, easy to transport and assembled in five minutes.

The Japanese Minister of Defense, Shinjirō Koizumi, announced the launch of the AirKamuy 150 war drone, made almost entirely of corrugated cardboard. This innovative model, developed by the weapon manufacturer AirKamuy, is lightweight, foldable, and can be assembled in about five minutes.

The drone has a range of 80 kilometers and a maximum speed of 100 km/h. The production cost is significantly lower compared to other drones on the market, with the price of a Japanese drone ranging between $2,000 and $2,500, in contrast to the Iranian Shahed drone, which costs between $20,000 and $50,000.

Drones can be quickly manufactured in any unit equipped with cardboard cutting machines. The Japanese army has already begun testing these innovative drones.
