The new Power11 chips, available from July 25, represent a major update to the 'Power' line and are designed for sectors such as financial services and healthcare. These systems integrate chips and software, prioritizing reliability and security. IBM will link the Power11 chip with the previously released Spyre AI chip to facilitate the use of AI for optimizing operational tasks, not for massively training them.
