Google is launching 'Preferred Sources', which allows users to select their favorite news sources, influencing the order in which they appear in search results. Setup is easily done via an icon next to the news, with no limit on favorite sources. The option is currently only available in the US and India. This personalization comes in response to criticism that artificial intelligence features are reducing organic traffic to news sites.
