The Hermes 2 plant will produce 50 megawatts of power for Google under a long-term agreement with the Tennessee Valley Authority. It will be the first in a series of planned nuclear power plants that will include small modular reactors to power Google's data centers. Operations are scheduled to begin in 2030, with a maximum potential of 500 megawatts expected by 2035.
