A new type of malicious software, called "Darksword", has been discovered on dozens of websites in Ukraine, capable of infiltrating iPhones and stealing sensitive data. Researchers estimate that the malware could affect between 220 and 270 million Apple devices running older versions of iOS. Darksword can extract personal information and data from cryptocurrency wallets, and its discovery comes after the identification of another powerful spyware, "Coruna". Analyses conducted by security companies, such as Lookout and Google, have shown that attacks have occurred in several countries, including Saudi Arabia and Turkey. The malware is distributed through compromised websites, targeting iPhone users with iOS versions between 18.4 and 18.6.2. Although Apple has patched the exploited vulnerabilities, many users do not update their devices, remaining exposed.
