OpenAI has announced the launch of a new interface for ChatGPT, dedicated to users under 18, which will be available globally in the coming weeks. This interface will provide teenagers with an enhanced experience focused on learning.
Among the new features is 'Quiz', which allows users to test their knowledge, and the 'Study' mode, which guides students in understanding concepts without providing immediate answers.
OpenAI has collaborated with Stanford University and MIT for the development of these features. Additionally, ChatGPT will be able to detect its use for copying homework, redirecting users to the 'Study' mode.
Safety measures include frequent notifications for breaks and alerts for parents in case of sensitive content being mentioned. Default protections for minors have been strengthened, and users will be warned about the private content they share. Access to the adult interface will require identity verification.
