Apple is developing a 13-inch laptop designed to be more affordable and compete with Chromebooks. It will use the A18 Pro chip, the first Mac powered by an iPhone chip, and is expected to enter mass production in late 2025. The new MacBook will have a slim design, 12.9-inch display, and will be available in multiple colors. Annual shipments are expected to reach 5-7 million units, increasing total MacBook sales by 30-40%.
