On Friday, Apple surpassed Nvidia and became the most valuable company in the world, with a valuation of approximately $4.88 trillion, compared to $4.86 trillion for Nvidia, which recorded a decline of 3.5%.

This change in ranking suggests that investors are broadening their attention beyond Nvidia, a leader in the field of artificial intelligence, which has held the top position for nearly a year. Apple returns to the top spot for the first time since April last year, and market sentiment has shifted in its favor, thanks to its ability to monetize AI through services and user loyalty.

Tim Cook, Apple's CEO, is preparing to hand over leadership to John Ternus, and the company recently launched a redesigned version of the Siri assistant. Although Nvidia remains an important player in AI, Apple is strengthening its position in this sector. Additionally, enthusiasm for AI has expanded investor interest towards other chip manufacturers, suggesting a diversification of the market.
