During the meeting with the President of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides, Zelensky emphasized the importance of opening negotiation chapters for Ukraine's accession to the EU. He also discussed strengthening sanctions against Russia and military support, including enhancing air defense and the delivery of drones. Zelensky mentioned that he had not received clear answers regarding post-war security guarantees, which are essential for deterring further Russian aggression. Cyprus, which has taken over the rotating presidency of the EU, reaffirmed its support for Ukraine, highlighting its commitment to its sovereignty.
