Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Ukraine does not represent an obstacle to peace, contradicting comments made by Donald Trump, who suggested that the Ukrainian leader is blocking a peace agreement. Zelensky announced a Ukrainian delegation that will head to the USA for discussions regarding security guarantees and a post-war recovery package, hoping to sign the documents at the World Economic Forum in Davos. He emphasized that Russia is the one hindering peace efforts, citing recent attacks on Ukrainian energy infrastructure as evidence of Moscow's intentions. Despite Trump's criticisms, Zelensky reiterated that Ukraine desires peace and will not be an obstacle in peace negotiations. The Kremlin's spokesperson supported Trump's position, stating that Zelensky is blocking agreements.
