Volodimir Zelenski said peace talks with Russia needed more impetus and urged the security secretary to step up talks. Although rounds of talks have been held in Turkey, they have led to little progress, limited to prisoner exchanges. Russia continues its offensive in the east and US President Trump has threatened tougher sanctions if a peace deal is not reached in 50 days. Ukraine is looking to develop its defense industry and work with partners to strengthen its military capabilities.
