Following his meeting with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, President Zelenski underlined the importance of military support for Ukraine, asking the UK to participate in the PURL program, which facilitates the purchase of military equipment from the US. The mechanism allows European allies to buy weapons which are then donated to Ukraine, as the US changes its military support policy. Zelenski described the meeting as productive, discussing security guarantees in the event of a peace agreement with Russia.
