Zelenski said the Ukrainian authorities are working on a 1,200-prisoner swap with Russia, an agreement reached after talks in Istanbul. Work to draw up prisoner lists is under way and Ukraine aims to repatriate civilians as well. Although prisoner exchanges have taken place previously, the total number of prisoners remains unknown. Ukraine is demanding a ceasefire, but Russia is imposing conditions, including a halt to Western arms supplies.
