In a recent phone conversation, Xi Jinping urged Donald Trump to avoid unilateral trade restrictions and to maintain a non-discriminatory environment for Chinese companies, including TikTok. Trump appreciated the progress made following the discussion, including on the issue of selling TikTok's operations in the U.S. The two leaders agreed to meet at the APEC summit next month, where they will discuss trade, fentanyl, and other important issues.
