Grethe H., a 78-year-old woman from Norway, won 120 million euros in the lottery in January 2024, but, a year and a half later, she was left with only 36.5 million euros. She donated the majority of her winnings, including substantial amounts to humanitarian causes, such as breast cancer prevention programs. Grethe has been generous with her family, helping them start businesses and continue their studies. Although she bought some properties and fulfilled some dreams, she claims that her life has not changed radically, continuing to do the same daily activities.
