In a video posted on Network X, the White House called Donald Trump a 'daddy' after NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte used the term during a conversation with Trump at the summit in The Hague. Rutte explained that he used the appellation to illustrate some European allies' perception of the US, not as a direct reference to Trump. At the summit, Trump likened the conflicts between Iran and Israel to children fighting, and Rutte added that 'daddy' sometimes has to intervene to stop them.
