On Sunday, in Los Angeles, a chaotic incident occurred when a man drove a U-Haul truck into a crowd of protesters contesting the Iranian government. The incident took place around 3:30 PM, near a federal building in the Westwood neighborhood. Footage captured shows protesters trying to pull the suspect from the vehicle after the collision, continuing to verbally attack him as police escorted him away. Although one protester was struck, no serious injuries were reported, and two others refused medical treatment. The truck driver, whose identity has not been disclosed, was injured and detained for investigation. The Department of Justice announced that the FBI is collaborating with LAPD to determine the driver's motives. Protests in Iran, which have led to the deaths of over 530 people, continue to draw attention, and on Sunday, protesters took to the streets again in Tehran and other cities. Police issued a dispersal order, and by 5 PM, only about a hundred protesters remained in the area.
