The US Postal Service will temporarily stop receiving parcels from China and Hong Kong after President Donald Trump removed a trade loophole.

The decision follows the imposition of an additional 10% tariff on goods imported from China and the removal of the 'de minimis' exception, which allowed US importers and buyers to avoid paying duties on parcels worth less than 800 dollars. About 30% of parcels shipped daily to the US from China are affected by this change.
