US envoy Steve Witkoff visited a Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) center to draw up a plan for aid in the territory. Shortly after the visit, three Palestinians were shot dead by Israeli forces near the center. The UN has reported that more than 1,000 people have been killed trying to get aid from the GHF, accusing the organization of violations of humanitarian principles. The GHF denies the accusations, claiming it better protects aid deliveries. The Israeli army says it is investigating the incident, while the UN complains of aid blockades in Gaza.
