Ursula von der Leyen, the President of the European Commission, stated that nothing should be decided regarding Ukraine without its direct involvement, following a conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. She emphasized Europe's commitment to supporting Ukraine in the face of Russian aggression. Zelensky informed von der Leyen about Donald Trump's plan to stop the Russian invasion, mentioning Ukraine's collaboration with France, Germany, and the United Kingdom to develop a counterproposal to the American plan. At the same time, the head of European diplomacy, Kaja Kallas, warned that Russia is trying to prevent the implementation of American sanctions on its oil exports, highlighting the importance of adhering to these measures. European leaders will meet at the G20 to discuss the next steps in support of Ukraine.
