General Oleksandr Komarenko, head of the Operational Command of the Ukrainian General Staff, announced that the Ukrainian armed forces have managed to recover almost all the territory in the Dnipropetrovsk region, with only three small villages left to be liberated. Following the operations, Ukraine has reclaimed over 400 square kilometers.

President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed the recapture of an area along the front line at Oleksandrivka, where intense fighting took place. The Ukrainian army also reported that in February 2026, it gained more territory than it lost, a first since the summer of 2024. Last year, Russia occupied several cities in Dnipropetrovsk, but now Ukrainian forces continue to advance.
