Andrii Săbiga, the head of Ukrainian diplomacy, accused Egypt on Tuesday of allowing a Russian ship, ASOMATOS, to unload 26.9 tons of wheat stolen from territories occupied by Russia, despite repeated warnings from Kyiv.

This is the fourth incident of this type in Egyptian ports since April.

Săbiga requested legal assistance from the Egyptian Ministry of Justice to prevent the unloading of these goods, which Ukraine considers illegal, given that the cargo was exported through the occupied Crimean peninsula. He emphasized that Ukraine has been a reliable partner for Egypt's food security and called for the confiscation of the stolen goods.

Ukraine has also sent similar messages to Israel, after shipments of grain from the occupied territories were unloaded there, but the Israeli government deemed that there was not enough evidence to justify intervention.
