The UK and the EU will discuss ways to seize frozen Russian assets to increase economic pressure on Russia.

Discussions will focus on how Europe can provide the legal and financial cover needed to seize billions of dollars in Russian assets, despite resistance from some European countries. They will also discuss an EU proposal to allow member states to invest €150 billion of EU loans in defense equipment.
