American President Donald Trump accused Iran on Tuesday of developing weapons capable of striking the United States, but also stated in his State of the Union address to Congress that he is in favor of a diplomatic approach with Tehran,

"We are in negotiations, they want to make a deal, but we will never allow them to obtain a nuclear weapon. I prefer the diplomatic route. But one thing is certain: I will not allow the world's number one sponsor of terrorism to obtain a nuclear weapon," Trump assured.
