Donald Trump suggests in an interview for "Axios" a change of strategy regarding Iran: "For now, we are not forcing things"

President Donald Trump indicated on Sunday, in a phone interview for "Axios", that the United States is currently willing to let the economic pressure on Iran take effect, instead of ordering a new military offensive, even though the country continues to defy the U.S.

"For now, we are not forcing things," Trump said during a brief phone conversation. "We are just in a phase of semi-negotiation with them. Simply put, we are limiting ourselves to observing Iran, with its huge inflation and the fact that it has no money," Trump added.
