American President Donald Trump expressed optimism regarding the possibility of an agreement to end the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, following productive discussions between the delegations of Washington and Kyiv. Although Trump emphasized that Russia and Ukraine would like to end the conflict, he also mentioned the corruption scandal affecting Ukraine, which complicates the situation. In contrast, Secretary of State Marco Rubio took a more cautious approach, stating that there is still much to be done. Ukraine's chief negotiator, Rustem Umerov, reported substantial progress, and President Zelensky highlighted the importance of constructive discussions to ensure Ukraine's sovereignty.
