US President Donald Trump tweeted on Truth Social that he is not happy with Canada's decision to recognize the Palestinian state in September, saying it will make it harder to reach a trade deal with Ottawa. Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney has confirmed that trade negotiations with the US are not finalized and outlined Canada's intention to recognize Palestine at the UN General Assembly, calling the move necessary for a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
