In a recent statement, President Donald Trump claimed that Iran was on the verge of obtaining a nuclear weapon, contradicting US intelligence assessments and Tulsi Gabbard's claims that Iran is not building a nuclear weapon. While Gabbard claimed that Iran does not have an active nuclear weapons program, Trump said the intelligence he received indicated otherwise. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also claimed that Iran is making rapid progress in developing nuclear capabilities.
