    The American president Donald Trump announced that tariffs imposed on China will be reduced from 57% to 47%, following a meeting with Chinese leader Xi Jinping, the first face-to-face meeting in six years. Trump positively assessed the discussions, stating that they reached a trade agreement that could be signed soon, without providing further details. He mentioned that they agreed on the majority of aspects, including soybean purchases and tariffs on fentanyl. Trump also emphasized that the US and China will collaborate regarding the war in Ukraine.
