Toyota is to shift the main part of its model range to hybrids, ditching gasoline models. The decision comes amid a market where demand for electric vehicles is falling and hybrids are an attractive alternative because they do not require charging. The Japanese automaker aims to maintain its dominant market position by offering a wide range of hybrids.
