The Tottenham football club refused to allow rapper Kanye West, now known as Ye, to use their stadium for his concerts, citing the artist's previous antisemitic statements and the club's historical ties to the Jewish community. Following the release of his album "Bully" on March 28, Ye announced an international tour, including a stop in England, contacting the club to arrange concerts. According to the Daily Mail, Tottenham's management decided not to host the artist nominated for 24 Grammy awards. The club's refusal generated reactions, with the rapper later announced as the headliner of the Wireless Festival, a major event in the UK, which raised concerns from British Prime Minister Keir Starmer. There is also discussion about the possibility of a ban on Kanye West entering British territory.
